About Epoch and the Epoch way
Our Story
As a home service business owner, what started out as a dream for a better life can quickly turn into a nightmare that feels soul sucking at best.
AT LEAST, THAT’S OUR personal experience.
When our team was building our own business (separately, back in the day), we all experienced the usual bumps in the road…
We struggled to find and hire the right people
We didn’t know how to create a team that cared about our businesses as much as we did
Being fulfilled was a far off fantasy we couldn’t quite seem to get a hold of
On the surface, we did all the “RIGHT” things. We signed up for the conferences and webinars, read the best business books, listened to the most popular podcasts, and dished out thousands of dollars to the top coaches in our fields.
Despite all this, we just couldn’t seem to get UNSTUCK.
Knowing that the definition of insanity is doing the same things OVER and OVER and expecting different results, we couldn’t shake the feeling that something had to CHANGE.
We can look back and laugh at ourselves now, but the truth is it took us WAY too long to figure out the thing that most needed to change was US.
We each began doing our own inner work…
Confronting the limiting beliefs we held
Challenging ourselves to grow as individuals
Rewriting the stories we had told ourselves for far too long
And we were doing this without even working together yet!
(Minus Alyssa and Dean – if you didn’t notice yet, they have the same last name. Alyssa is Dean’s daughter.)
We began to grow ourselves in new ways, and not just in our business skills.
We discovered the sweet spot of growing mentally, emotionally, spiritually and physically, and how that ultimately leads to the business growth we desire.
Fast forward several years, and the three of us (Dean, Alyssa and Lisa) began working together through what can only be described as FATE… or God, if you believe in that sort of thing.
THE EPOCH WAY is our powerful and impactful approach to aligning purpose with work so that home service entrepreneurs can realize their fullest potential for truly transformational results in their life AND businesses.
We now had a new dream, or maybe an unrealized dream that was there all along, to share what we’ve learned with other home service business owners and employees so they too could finally live the life they’ve always dreamed of.
Thus, EPOCH WORK was born…

DEAN WILKINSON is a blue collar entrepreneur who has built, and sold several MULTI-MILLION DOLLAR home service companies and designed a franchise system with over 100 LOCATIONS - and he continues to run a successful business today.
His EXCEPTIONAL group facilitation experience helps unleash HONEST and OPEN conversations that help all involved to gain new insights and REACH THEIR POTENTIAL.
LISA FARLEY moved from the fitness world where everything is focused around EDUCATION and TRAINING to the door industry where it was not, and in growing a FAMILY RUN BUSINESS, Lisa took the initiative and focused on team development to unlock high performance, taking her business from small scale to SEVEN FIGURES and GROWING!
ALYSSA WILKINSON has played an integral part on the EPOCH GROWTH STORY and having led teams of up to 800 PEOPLE during her career so far, her talents lie in leveraging HIGH LEVEL PERFORMANCE and SUSTAINABLE BUSINESS MODELS.
